Margret De Loo was a prominent member of the mid 20th century art movement in New Orleans, Louisiana and, like many active artist, sold her works on the streets of the Crescent City. She favored oil scenes of swamps with live oaks, Spanish Moss, and bayou cabins. She was also an active writer and created monographs on other street artists. This wonderful pair of paintings beautifully shows her use of bold colors and impasto paint work. Selling as a pair.
