Antique doll, window dressing, decorator item?

This little lady sits in our hallway on her own attached stool where her handicaps aren’t so noticeable. She is missing fingers AND her neck has damage (I hate to say “slit”).  She is elegant and VERY “as is.” She sits 35″ tall.

I wish I had the history of this piece. It was purchased at an antiques show by my mother and passed on to me. The fabric detail is remarkable. The face is hand painted. I THINK it’s made of papier mache.  Fabric is all stiff. Shipping is at the purchaser’s expense. She’s not heavy, she doesn’t eat much and she’s worth the expense of restoration. I’m sure she’s a one-of-a-kind.
