James M. Bell Co. was in the business of wholesale wines, 21 Warren St., NYC. This leather-covered blue Carboy handmade bottle must be amazing inside the leather but it would be a shame to remove the well-worn identifying casing. It is from the mid to late 1800’s. It measures 21″ tall and 11″ at it’s base. The leather is separating around the top circumference and there is a tiny chip where the metal handle could hit the neck. It is the size of the tip of a thumbnail. Shipping is at the expense of the customer.
